Flowservices FAQ - How much grease/couplant to apply transducer

How much grease/couplant gel do I use to apply each transducer?

On small pipes use only a thin pencil line of grease along the length of each transducer face. On larger pipes with ‘M’ and ‘K’ transducers more couplant may be used. It also needs to be applied along the length of the transducer, and applied as it comes out of the tube almost as if like toothpaste on a toothbrush.
